UNION CITY - Willard J. Price, 99, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday Sept. 5th, 2017 at Pine Knoll in Winchester. He was born May 25th, 1918 in Tucker County, WV, son of the late Alba Robert and Lula Melissa (Phillips) Price.
Willard owned and operated Price Car Hospital in Richmond, IN, and retired from the Eaton Corporation in 1979 after 18 years of being a Tool Maker and Machinist. Willard was also a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved fishing, woodworking and crafts. He was a member of the Middleboro United Methodist Church where he was a Lay Leader and speaker.
Survivors include his children, Mary (Kermit) Foureman of New Madison, OH, Ronald (Pamela) Price of U.C., IN; grandchildren, Denise Anderson, Anthony (Christine) Pereira, Michelle Pereira, Ronald (Jenny) Pereira, James (Lauren) Price, Teresa (Rusty) Zimmers, Scott (Tracy) Price; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Thelma Price of Greenville, OH.
He was preceded by his parents; first wife Nellie E. (Shade) Price "1998," 2nd wife, Noreene (Boyce) Price "2016," sister, Orpha Sayers; 3 brothers, Eugene, Forrest and Elmer Price.
Visitation is 10-11 A.M. Saturday Sept. 9, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are 11:00 A.M. Saturday also at the funeral home with the Rev. John Hannan officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery.
