Viola Olee Cassity

Winchester – Viola “Olee” Cassity, 74 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday January 17, 2017 after a brief illness.  Olee was born Jan. 15, 1943 to the late Arthur & Jesse Bashford Cassity in Salt Lick, Kentucky.
Olee was an active member of Spartanburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters. She retired from Wal-Mart in 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather (Dan) Jackson and two granddaughters, Cassie and Jessica of New Paris, OH; a sister, Ruby (Marcus) Durbin of Winchester; a brother, David (Michele) Cassity of Winchester; several beloved nephews also.
Olee was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is 12 noon – 1 PM Saturday January 21, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd, Union City, IN. Services are at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor David Cassity officiating. Burial will follow in the Spartanburg Cemetery.
