Vincent Garza Hernandez

Vincent Garza Hernandez, 55, Union City, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. He was born in Paw Paw MI, on June 19, 1966, to the late Isidro and Dolores (Garza) Hernandez. He married Diana Hindsley on March 5, 1987 and she survives. They were childhood sweethearts from the ages of 13 and 14.

Vincent served our country in the United States Navy, where he was a religious program specialist. Family was extremely important to him. He loved being with his kids and grandkids and having Sunday lunches together. His hobbies include playing the guitar, and being outdoors doing yard work.

Survivors include his wife Diana Hernandez of Union City, children; Sophia (Sterling) Sharpe of Union City, OH, Victoria (Nathanael) Collins of Union City, IN, Olivia (Jacob) Mayfield of Union City, OH, Andrew (Ariana) Hernandez of Union City, IN, Emma Hernandez, of Union City, IN grandchildren; his pride and Joy, Ruby and Charlie Sharpe, sisters; Mary Jones of Union City, Hilda Castillo of Portland, IN brothers; Anthony Hernandez, Chris Hernandez, of Union City, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Jesse Hernandez, Isidio Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, and Reuben Hernandez.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road. Union City, IN 47390.
Funeral Services to celebrate Vincent's life will follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
