Vicky Linder Vinson, 62, passed away peacefully Sunday June 10, 2018, 46 days after learning she had lung cancer. Vicky was born May 15, 1956 in Union City, Indiana to the late Jim & Emily (Owens) Linder.
Vicky was a member of U.C.C.H.S. Class of 1974, worked for J & J Vending as a cook for from 1981 until it closed in 2011. She loved to cook and loved doing it especially for the Union City Lion's Club every month. Vicky lived her entire life in Union City mostly in the 200 block of North Howard Street. Vicky had a beautiful soul and cared for others more than herself right up till the end, her friends loved her dearly and she loved everyone and cared for them dearly.
Survivors include her Husband of 29 Yrs. Dan Vinson; daughter, Amy Gard-U.C., Indiana; sons, Levi (Chasidy) Vinson-Montezuma, Ohio, Berkeley (Amanda) Vinson-Winchester, Indiana; grandchildren, Anthony (Marissa) Gard, Courtney Gard, Zachary Gard, Gabriel Tapp, Jaxsin Vinson, Jovie Vinson, Luke and Noah Vinson; A Grandson on the way Liam Vinson due in August; 2 brothers, Larry Linder-U.C., Indiana, Bill (Cindi) Linder- U.C., Ohio; Her Special Yaya Friends, Anita Amspaugh, Becky Bennett, Louise Lingner, Terri Wise-Heberand, Bevin (Sue) Stewart. Preceded by Grandson: Lincoln Andrew Vinson, and her Parents.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday June 15, 2018 at the Community Room at 103 N. Columbia Street in Union City at 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to Union City Lion's Club or PAWS. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
