Susan Ann Kessler

Susan Ann Kessler 81, of Greenville, OH, passed away on December 11, 2021 at

Wayne Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1940 to the late Lavern Scholl and Minnie (Prescott) Scholl. She married George David Kessler on April 12, 1959 and he preceded her in death.

After 45 years of running her own salon in Union City, Susan (Scholl) Kessler retired and moved to Greenville, Ohio. There, she enjoyed gardening in her backyard and attending all her grandchildren’s athletic activities. She also loved hosting weekly moving nights for anyone that desired to attend, painting canvas’ for family members and writing stories for her grandchildren. A devout animal lover, she also pursued a hobby in bird watching. Her beloved dog, Jill Marie will maintain a special place in the family.

She is survived by her children; Randy (Candy) Kessler of Mt. Blanchard, OH, Steve (Karla) Kessler of Celina, OH, Kris (Jim) May of Findlay, OH, Lisa (Ron) Clark of Greenville, OH, grandchildren; Luke Kessler, Abigail Siebert, Landon Kessler, Lacey Kessler, Lexa Loveridge , Brandon May, Austin May, Chelsea May, Lindsay May, Caitlyn Clark, Cassidy Nealeigh, Carson Clark, 7 great grandchildren, brother; Ralph Scholl of Union City, OH, sister; Karen Gilbert of Union City, IN, sister in law; Kay scholl and Marilyn Scholl.

She was preceded in death by her brothers; Kenneth Scholl, Larry Scholl, and sister in law Ruth Scholl.

Visiting hours will take place on Saturday December 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN 47390.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date.
