Stanley Leon Mote

Stanley Leon Mote, 94, Union City, passed away on November 5, 2021. He was born in Union City, on July 28, 1927, to the late Henry and Bertha (Turner) Mote.

Stanley was a lifelong farmer, business owner, and loved agriculture. In his spare time Stanley enjoyed playing cards at the Union City Elks Club. He also liked to fish and golf.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Mote of Union City, IN; children Deborah (James) Cline of Greenville, OH, Stacy Mote, Derrick (Janet) Mote, Kent Mote, and Brian Mote all of Union City, IN; grandchildren Nathaniel (Lori) Cline, Taylor (Evan) Ponsler, Maggie Mote, Chris Mote, Kyle (Susan) Mote, Marc (Amanda) Mote, Tyler (Chelsea) Mote, Weston Mote, and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Graveside Services to celebrate Stanley's life will take place on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Union City Cemetery.
