Ruth N. Wagner

Ruth N. Kessler Wagner, 93 of 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, Ohio, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Brethren Home, Greenville, Ohio. 
She was born Dec. 17, 1919 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Sam and Minnie Bretz Crowell. She was employed by G.C. Murphy's 5 and 10 cent store. Ruth was an organist and played at many local churches. She and her husband liked gospel singing. 
Survivors include three daughters, Theresa Minnich of Union City, Ind., Mary Kathleen Reck of Indianapolis and Patty Lou (Bob) Chaundy of Irving, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth Kessler; her second husband, Robert Wagner; a son, George Kessler; a son-in-law, L.J. Minnich; a granddaughter, Melissa Ann Minnich; two sisters, Ruby Kittner and Mary Poling; five brothers, Jim, John, Francis, Vernon and Raymond Crowell. 
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, Ind., with The Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial is at Brethren Cemetery, Union City, Ind.
