Ronnie Otis Caldwell
October 24, 1941 — January 21, 2017
UNION CITY - Ronnie Otis Caldwell, 75, passed away at his residence. Ron was born Ocotober 24th, 1941 in Portland, Ind., son of the late Otis Angel Caldwell and Lillian (Keith) Minch.
He was a self employed general contractor for many years. Ron loved spending time working and playing outside around their pond, which over the years received countless hours of labor to make it a great place for entertaining family and a bunch of kids!
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Sue (Denton) Caldwell; children, Rhonda (Phillip) Cowan of Portland, Ind., Leslie McIntire also of Portland, Bryan (Joanne) Shepherd of Carmel, Ind., Matthew Ronald (Kristin) Caldwell of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin Cowan, Ian & Mackenzie McIntire, Harrison Matthew Caldwell; and a sister, Carolyn Sue Geeting; nieces and nephews also.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation is 1-2 P.M. Thursday January 26th, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, Ind. Services are 2:00 P.M. Thursday also at the funeral home with the Rev. Jonathan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lisbon Cemetery.
