Robert Darrell Lyons

Robert Darrell Lyons, 89, of Union City, OH passed away Wednesday April 12th, 2017 at Village Green in Greenville, OH. He was born March 13th, 1928 in Portland, IN son of the late Glen and Edith (Schemenaur) Lyons.
Robert was a lifelong farmer also working at Westinghouse and the Union City Body Company. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Union City Elks Lodge #1534 and the Darke County Farm Bureau. Robert loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Phyllis Threewits Lyons; children, Jerry (Linda) Lyons, Mike (Barbie Hunt) Lyons both of Union City, OH; grandchildren, Sheena Lyons (Michael) Pettus, Dusty (Jamie) Lyons, Brian (Jessica) Hunt, Gary (Shelby Rehmert) Peace; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Veryl (Betty) Lyons of Portland, IN, Jack (Mary) Lyons of Athens, TN, Sue Price of Laguna Beach, CA; nieces and nephews also.
Preceding him are his parents; son, Richard Lyons "1984;" 2 sisters, Janet Cordner and Judy Foster.
Visitation is 5-7 P.M. Monday April 17th, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are Tuesday April 18th, 2017 also at the funeral home with the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery.
