Ray L Miller

Ray L Miller, 72, of Union City passed away September 10, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family.

  Ray fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on February 4, 1939 and was a resident of Union City for 46 years.

  Ray was a veteran of the US Military and owned and operated Millers Tax Service for 42 years.  He also worked for Sheller Globe for 26 years.  He was a member of the Come As You Are Fellowship Church where he also served as an Elder.  Ray and Wife, Beulah Miller were married 51 years, and were blessed with four children; Vernon Miller, Victor Miller (wife Betsy), Doug Miller (wife Joan) and Paul Miller.  Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  One brother; JB Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ida Miller, two brothers; Charles Miller and Kenney Hackler, and his son Paul Miller.

  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday September 14, 2011 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Rd. Union City, IN with Pastor Darby Livingston officiating.  Burial will follow at the Union City Cemetery with Military Services conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.
