Penny Ann Hoover

Penny Ann Hoover, 76, passed away Thursday October 21, 2021, at IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie, IN. She was born November 27, 1944, daughter of the late Charles Richard and Verla Faye Stooksberry Bothast.
She was a 1962 graduate from Union City Wayne High School, a member of the Sigma Phi Gamma sorority and the Wesley United Methodist church. She married her late husband Roger “Flip” Hoover on August 18, 1967. Penny was a self-employed Beautician for more than 50 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chuck (Tonia) Hoover of U.C., IN and Michele Hoover of Norcross, GA; sister-in-law, Linda Bothast; and her canine companion Hattie.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by a brother, Phil Bothast.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 2 P.M. Saturday October 30, at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. Services at 2 P.M. will be conducted by pastor Geoff Grow with burial in the Union City Cemetery to follow.
