Nova Jean Read

Nova Jean (Smock) Read, 93, of Union City, IN passed away December 14, 2021 at St. Vincent's of Randolph County. She was born July 25, 1928 daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Martin) Smock.

Survivors include her children Randy (Roxanne) St Myers of Union City, IN, Julia (Steve) Green of Winchester, IN, John (Lynette) St. Myers of Indlps, IN, and a sister Marcella Jefferies of Colorado; grandchildren Michael St. Myers, Kevin St. Myers, Chris St. Myers, Carly Paume, Casey St. Myers, Eric Green, Tara Green, Ashley Green, Tasha Lockwood, Shelly Moit, Trevor St. Myers; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband Gerald St. Myers, a son Gregory St. Myers, daughter-in-law Joan St. Myers, brothers Robert, Arthur, Charles, Louis Smock and 3 sisters, Marjorie Burkett Runkle, Ester Cook and Annabelle Harshman Senior and 2nd husband Harry Read.
No public services will be held. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Union City Cemetery.
