Norma Jean New

Norma Jean "Jumping Bean" New, 84, went to be with our Lord Thursday April 21, 2022 at Randolph Nursing Home.

 She was born in Science Hill, KY to the late Howard and Dorothy "Mer" (Godby) Dishman on August 27, 1937. Norma married Junior Gene New on March 15, 1958 who survives.

 She is also survived  by three sons, Barry (Cheryl) New, Michael (Betsy) New and Jeffrey Robin (Lori) New, grandchildren, Kelly (Antonette) New, Leslie (Andrew) Jones, Whitney (Jason) Gerace, Jacob New, Gabe (Olivia) New, Sarah (Mack) New, Rachel (Zack) Adkins, Noah New, Chad (Mindy) Manning, Blaine (Emily) Manning, BreeAnn (Travis) Simmons; 9 great grandchildren, Cameron and Harrison Jones, Parker Noes, Holly Adkins, Liam Gerace, Harper and Hayes Manning, Tegan and Jasper Simmons; sisters Opal Powers and Betty Tate, several nieces and nephews and best friend Howard Kurtz.

 She was preceded in death  by her parents, brothers Kenneth and Paul Dishman, an infant daughter Sheila Ann that passed away at birth.

 Upon Norma's request there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local human society in honor of Norma. Reichard Funeral Home Inc, entrusted with arrangements. P.S. Don't forget to feed the squirrels.
