Noah Lewis Swallow, 86, a lifelong resident of Union City, OH, passed away Wednesday Nov. 1st, 2017 at the Jay County Hospital. He was born June 8, 1931 son of the late Noah and Florence (Pfeiffer) Swallow.
Noah married Nora Louise Peters on Sept. 23rd, 1950. He retired from Verizon Telephone in 1993, and was also a lifelong farmer, and was a member of the Greenville Nazarene Church.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Nora Louise Peters Swallow; children, Roger (Linda) Swallow, Sondra (Mike) Hellinger, Robert (Annett) Swallow all of Union City; grandchildren, Shawn (Kim) Swallow, Shane (Misty) Hellinger, Seth (Rachelle) Swallow, Nicole (Chris) Howell, Dustin (Alicia) Swallow, Ross (Natalie) Swallow; great grandchildren, Signe Swallow Carlson, Kathryn and Alexander Swallow, Chase and Elena Hellinger, Ethan, Kaelan and Noah Swallow, Emma, Gabriel and Andrew Howell, Amelia Swallow; nieces and nephews, Melina (Larry) Eberst, Bevin (Donna) Shivedecker, Joel (Julie) Shivedecker.
Visitation is 5-8 PM Friday Nov. 3rd, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN and 1 hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Saturday Nov. 4th, 2017 at the Greenville Nazarene Church, 7584 St. Rt. #118, Greenville, OH with the Rev. Wayne Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, IN.
