Nadine Hawley

 Nadine Hawley, 79, passed away Saturday April 7, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving Family. Nadine was born November 17, 1932 in Union City, Indiana to the late Lloyd Basil and Dorothea Dale Ramsey Shelley.  Nadine was a member of the Main Street Christian Church where she was an active member of the M.S.C.C. Choir and Dorcas Circle.  Nadine also was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Nadine and her husband Harold opened the first Chicken Shack in Winchester, Indiana.  She also was a seamstress at Ribars in Albany, Indiana and a Cook at Driver Middle School.  Nadine loved spending time her Family, especially watching her kids and grandkids in all of their activities.

  Nadine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Donald Hawley.  Children, Becky (Paul) Beatty, Daniel (Kim) Hawley, Doug Hawley, Kim (Bruce) Clevenger, Tammy (Todd) Abernathy and Joe (Penny) Hawley all of Winchester.  Grandkids, Scott (Kerry) Beatty, Donnie (Beth) Beatty, Christi Beatty, Nicki (Kristin) Bosworth, Kevin (Brittany) Abernathy, Kyle (Michelle) Abernathy, Adam (Nikki) Clevenger, Derrick (Kandice) Clevenger, Tyler (Jamie) Clevenger, Logan Hawley, Zach Hawley, Lance Hawley and Chelsea Hawley.  20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Dorothea Shelley, her sister Madelon Lea, her daughter-in-law Tess Hawley and her great grandson Brogan Bosworth.

  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday April 10, 2012 at the Main Street Christian Church in Winchester.  Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday April 11, 2012 also at the Church with Rev. Cecil Cook and Rev. Becky Merriman officiating.  Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery.
