Michael Allen Hill

Michael Allen Hill, 62, of Union City, OH passed away Tuesday Sept 7, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond. He was born March 18, 1959 the son of Ed Hill and Sonny & Sharon (Woodard) Pettie.

He spent his career as a truck driver for many local trucking companies. He was an avid race fan and enjoyed racing with his sons, was a Nova enthusiast and a family man that loved spending time with his grandkids.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Karen (McDavid) Hill; children, Leslie West, Todd Hill, Ashley (Mark) Nottingham and Michael Hill; grandchildren, Jordan, Gabrielle, Enoch, Eden, Israel and Hannah Nottingham, Rylin Wall, Elias Hill and Stella West; his dad, Sonny Pettie; half-siblings, Tim Pettie, Sean, Shannon, Mary and Chris Hill; father-in law, Garret McDavid along with numerous other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ed Hill and Sharon Pettie; brother and sister-in-law Ed and Rose Hill; a son, Matthew Allen Hill and mother-in-law, Linda McDavid.
Visitation is 12 Noon - 2 PM Friday September 10, 2021 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday also at the funeral home with Sonny Pettie officiating. Burial will follow in the Saratoga Cemetery.
