Melody Ilene Adkins, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Sunday November 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born February 25, 2020 to Gideon and Amanda (Sarff) Adkins. Melody was born with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She had to spend most of her life at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She had to go through several chemotherapy treatments as well as several heart procedures due to clot issues. Melody was a very sweet, loving and strong little girl. She had a smile that would always light up the room. No matter how hard life got, she always had a smile on her face. She motivated everyone to never give up on hope. Melody was blessed with amazing support from her family, friends and her Medical family. She had everyone wrapped around her little fingers and toes. Even though she lost her battle with Leukemia, she remains an inspiration to others. Despite her short time on earth, she will always be deeply loved.
In a field of Roses, Melody truely is the Wildflower.
Melody will forever be remembered and loved by her parents Gideon (Amanda) Adkins, grandparents; Paula (Ed) Adkins, Darrell (Judy) Sarff, aunts and uncles; Hannah (Rob) Breymier, Karli (Ross) Post, Nathan Sarff, Nancie (Randy) Rhul, Nick Sarff, great grandparents; Chuck (Mary) Greer, and all her cousins.
