Mary Jane Gerster

Mary Jane "Jo" Gerster, 94, passed away Sunday June 14, 2020, at Otterbein of Springboro. She was born May 9, 1926 in Chicago, IL to the late Albert E. and Laura E. (Stevens) Hoerth.
Jo worked as a Bookkeeper for many years until retiring to Tucson in 1991, with her husband Donald. The friends she made became her Tucson family.
Cherishing her memory are her daughter, Laura Schatz, her partner, Amy Grim and one grandson, Canyon Grim. Her sister, Loretta Neenan of Chicago, IL; nieces and nephew, Maureen Whalen, John Neenan, Maggie Neilson, and Molly McHugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her son Jim, and her niece and goddaughter, Mary McTighe.
