Marvin Dale McClannan

Marvin Dale McClannan, 91 of New Weston, Ohio, passed away on November 27, 2024, at Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born on March 27, 1933, near Fort Recovery, Ohio to the late Harold and Erma (Manning) McClannan.

Marvin grew up on a farm and was a lifelong farmer and dairy farmer. He served in the U.S Marine Corps before he was married. He enjoyed hunting, birdwatching, and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Loretta McClannan, who passed October 21, 2021. Also preceded by his brother, Jack McClannan and in-laws Clarence (Pearl) Stump, Leonard (Erma) Stump, Leon (Jean) Stump, Margaret (Austerman) Stump, Bernice (James) Moneysmith, Roscoe Stump, Pat Stump, Marvin Stump, and Alvin Stump.

Survivors include his children Jerry McClannan (Colleen) and Randy McClannan, grandchildren Brett (Alison) McClannan and Alisa (Troy) Myers as well as great grandsons, Mason and Tucker McClannan. Also surviving are in-laws, Robert Stump, Carl Stump, Esta (Richard) Kiser, Judy Stump, and Janice Stump, and many nieces and nephews.

Private grave-site services will take place at the convenience of the family.
