Lynda Carter-Abling

Lynda Ann Carter-Abling, 67, passed away Saturday June 30th, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 29th, 1950 in Harlan, KY daughter of the late Willard and Ruby Hodge Carter.
In her lifetime she acquired a Doctrate degree from Indiana University.
Lynda loved her politics and was an advocate for people to exercise their constitutional rights to vote!
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Shane Abling, Josh Abling, Allisha (Eric) Abling-Klonne all of Union City, IN; grandchildren, Shelby Klonne, Carter Klonne, Payton Abling; siblings, Fred Short of Union City, OH, Brenda Johnson of Richmond, IN; and a nephew, Craig Short.
She was preceded by her parents; a brother, Billy Lee Carter.
Private services will be held later at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you go and exercise your right to vote. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
