Linda Marie Selander 69, of Winchester went to be with the lord on January 8, 2022 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. She was born on November 27, 1952 in Greenville, OH to the late Wayne and Lena Selander.
Linda was a 1971 graduate of Versailles High School. She worked in heart services her whole career. She worked at several hospitals and clinics in Toledo, Ohio before moving to Winchester. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a heart ultrasound scanner at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
While in Toledo, she developed a love for Mediterranean food. She loved to play Bunco and board games and attend the concerts of popular artists with her friends. She attended Art Fairs in Toledo and Louisville, Kentucky and had fond memories of a trip to England. She taught Sunday school in both Toledo and Winchester and supported several charities. She loved to read and was well-versed in politics and current events. She loved animals , especially her sister's Chihuahua. She looked forward to baking a large assortment of Christmas cookies in the Fall and distributing them to friends and family.
Survivors include her sister, Audrey Tomaselli, of Winchester, Indiana as well as many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents as well as her brother-in-law Victor Tomaselli.
Visiting hours will be Thursday January 13, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at East Street Church, 128 N. East Street, Winchester, Indiana 47394. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church.
Burial will take place at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
