Leonard Earl Burkett, 97, of Union City, Ohio passed away November 29, 2020. He was born March 9, 1923 in Troy, Ohio, son of the late Earl & Sylvia Vogan Burkett. He served as a WWII logistics specialist with the Ohio Naval Reserve and Ohio Guard. He moved to Union City where he met his wife of 50 years, Leora Irene (Mote) Burkett (deceased). He retired from the Union City Body Co. He and his wife then moved to Haines City, FL where they frolicked with other Union City retirees. He was a life member of the Elks, Eagles, VFW, & American Legion.
