Larry K. Byrum of Union City, IN passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born on November 7, 1944, in Union City, IN to the late Herschel and Pauline (Brooks) Byrum.
Larry was a welder for many years for The Union City Body Company, he retired after 35 years. He enjoyed making stained glass, fishing, being outdoors, and traveling out west with his motor home and motorcycle. Most of all Larry loved spending time with his family and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include; his ex-wife, Waveline Byrum, mother of his children and lifelong friend, children; Brenda Gasper of Tipp City, OH, Laura Cotter of Osceola, IN, Ken (Jerri) Byrum of Ansonia, OH, sisters; Joyce (Donald) Walter of Greenville, OH, Margorie (Roger) Class of Greenville, OH, six grandchildren; Joshua Gasper of Gatlinburg, TN, Jeremiah (Alicia) Gasper of Greenville, OH, Jadilyn (Colin) Klima of Vandalia, OH, Ashley (Derrick) Elkins of Warsaw, IN, Kyle (Amanda) Cotter of Niles, MI, Cory (Samantha) Barber of Ansonia, OH, and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Robert Byrum, and Donald Byrum. Donald who passed away on June 28, 1966, at the young age of 18 while serving our country during the Vietnam War.
A celebration of life will be on Thursday February 1, 2024, from 1pm-3pm at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390.
