Kenneth R. Cox

Kenneth R. Cox 93 of Union City, IN went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2023, at Randolph Nursing and Rehab.  He was born on December 24, 1929, to the late Roy Cox and Nelle Abel.

Kenneth retired from Amedco Stamping Company in Richmond after 34 years.  He served his country in the Army from 1950 to 1953 and was a member of Community Fellowship Church in Union City.  His hobbies included gardening and fishing.

Survivors include his daughters; Jeannie (David) Hollopeter, Melinda Cox, three grandchildren; Tammy (Eric) Cline, Jason (Nikki) Cox, Eric (Tina) Hollopeter, great grandchildren; Jeffery Cline, Emily (Gabriel) Loesch, Ashley Cline, Conner Cline, Madison Hollopeter, Sara Beth Hollopeter, Zach Massie, Claryssa Massie and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle (Johnson) Cox of 50 years and Gwille (Jordan) Cox of 10 years.  His parents Roy and Nelle Cox, three brothers George, Robert, and Roy Cox, two sisters Roberta Kolde and Margaret Cox, and his beloved son Kenny Jr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 5, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with burial and military graveside services to follow at Lisbon Cemetery.
