Judith Ann Abel

Judith Ann (Westfall) Abel, 78, of Union City, Indiana passed away Sunday October 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 18, 1940 to the late Jesse & Ethel Holdeman Westfall in Union City, Indiana. Judy attended the Trinity Lutheran Church, was a master gardener, avid card player, loved line dancing, and going to the casino.
Survivors include 3 sons, George Abel of Zionsville, IN, Arend (Kathy) Abel of Indpls., IN, Carl (Angie) Abel of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brian) Huffman, Geoffery Abel, Jordan Abel, Daniel Abel, Jesse Abel, Ross (Ali) Abel and Sarah Abel; 3 great grandchildren, Henry Huffman, Charlie Huffman and Mia Abel; sister, Marjorie Bloomer of U.C., IN; brother-in-law, Charles (Sandra) Abel of Decatur, IN; several nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, George H. Abel "2006," 3 brothers, Warren, Robert and Harold; 6 sisters, Wanda, Betty, Margaret, Carolyn Sue, LuEmma and Helen.
Visitation is 1-3 PM Friday October 19, 2018 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN. Services are 3:00 PM Friday with the Rev. Melinda Gapen officiating also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery.
