John Neargarder

John “Vern” Neargarder, 39, of Greenville Ohio passed away Monday October 11, 2021 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born February 21, 1982 in Union City, IN the son of Ronald Neargarder and Robin Durham Reichard.

He was a proud US Army vet serving in Kuwait\Iraq during the global war on terrorism. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving his mustang (Pegasus) and spending time with his precious daughter.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Emilia Paz Neargarder; mother, Robin (Randy) Reichard of Laura, OH; father, Ronald (Laura) Neargarder of Winchester, IN; sister Staci Pouder, brothers Matt (Katrina) Neargarder, Ross (Nora) Reichard, Dustin (Jessica) Reichard; grandmother Evelyn Neargarder; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews along with several lifelong friends.
He was preceded by his grandparents Lewis Neargarder, June Keister, John Durham and Verlin Deaton and an uncle, Eugene Deaton.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at 4 PM, Thursday October 21, 2021 at the VFW on Ohio Street in Greenville, OH. Burial will be held in the VA Cemetery later at the convenience of the family.
