James Bruner

James L. Bruner, 71, of Union City, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his residence Friday March 14, 2025. He was born November 21, 1953, in Huntington, Indiana son of the late Vernie Elmo and Doris Mae Spath Bruner.

James worked as a welder, worked in tree service and roofing. He loved playing guitar, fishing, mushroom hunting and anything that involved being outdoors.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rachelle (husband Donald Parker) Lesh; grandchildren, James Michael Dalton, Davian Lewis Parker, Donald Parker Jr. and Ava Lynn Parker; siblings Bruce (wife Lori) Bruner, Bill (wife Cynthia) Bruner, Sandy Bruner, and Pam Ludwig; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents James was preceded by his significant other Christine Sue Lesh ‘2022,’ and a brother Gary Bruner.
