James Phillip âWoodyâ Bollinger, 70, passed away Sunday Sept. 11, 2016 at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in Winchester, IN.
He was born January 13, 1946 in Portland, Ind. He went to Saratoga High School in Saratoga, Ind. He worked at Sheller Globe in Union City, moved to Portland, then Ft. Recovery, and finally to Union City, Ind. where he began Bollingerâs Upholstery and ran it for the last 20 years. Jim was there for everyone that ever knew him, was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include; his daughter, Crystal Lynn (Dean) Chapman of Bryant, Ind.; son Michale Allan Bollinger of Portland, Ind.; a brother, Harold Melvin Bollinger of New Port Richey, FL; a sister, Cindy Ann (Charles) Wallace Jr., of Winchester, Ind.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins also.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Lee Bollinger; wife Diana May (McKibben) Bollinger; parents, Cletus LaDoyt and Ethel Marie (Dale) Bollinger; brother David Eugene Bollinger; a sister Clara Sue (Bollinger) Miles.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon â 1:30 P.M. Thursday September 15th, 2016 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN, 47390. Services are 1:30 P.M. Thursday also at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Yaryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant, Ind. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
