UNION CITY - Jack E. Whitesel, 91, passed away at Morrison Woods Health Campus in Muncie, IN. He was born July 15, 1925 in Randolph County, IN, son of the late Charles and Blanche Armacost Whitesel.
Jack was a United States Army veteran, worked at Westinghouse in Union City, IN, and was a member of the South Salem Church of Christ.
Survivors include his children, Jackie (Larry) Curts of Union City, IN, Kelly (Cassie) Whitesel of Eaton, IN, Kurt (Rose) Whitesel of Lynn, IN; grandchildren, Crysta (Tim) Kabrich, Matt Curts, Andy (Rachelle) Curts, Michael (Barb) Whitesel, Michele (Mike) Bunch, Chad (Amy) Whitesel, Amy Elizabeth (Matt) Bailey, Brad (Randi) Whitesel, Shelly (Mark) Stambush, Tim (Carrie) Naylor, Dave (Kris) Naylor; 21 great grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Puderbaugh of California; sister-in-law, Billie Whitesel of Greenville, OH; nieces and nephews also.
He was preceded by his parents, wife, Margaret "Betty" Whitesel "2016," 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation is 12 Noon - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, IN. Services are 2:00 P.M. Wednesday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery. Military Burial Rites will be conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
