Ira C Gardener

  IRA CALVIN GARDNER 88, Union City, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday February 18, 2014 at Union City Care Center surrounded by his loving family.

  He was born May 23, 1925 in Hiltons, Virginia to the late Filmore and Sarah Quillen Gardner.  Ira was a carpenter and a Minister, he was also a member of the Pilgrim Nazarene Church in Winchester, IN.

 He is survived by his children; Ira Calvin (Norma) Gardner Jr. of Jamestown, Tenn., Jackie (Jerry) Reagan of U.C. ,Ohio, and Keith (Cindy) Gardner of Portland, Indiana. 6 Grandchildren: Mary (Donnie) Purkey, Karen (Kenny) Fleshman, Tony (Tina) Reagan, Denny (Aimee) Gardner, Keith (Lexie) Gardner and Kylie Gardner. 7 Great Grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Patsy Colleen Gardner “2002”, 9 Brothers and Sisters.

 Visitation will be Saturday February 22, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN  47390.  Services will also be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Ira Calvin Gardner Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at the Snell Cemetery in Union City, OH.
