Grover L. Tipton, 76

Grover Tipton, of Winchester, Indiana went on to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 3, 2014. 

He was born June 20, 1938 in Irvine, Kentucky son of the late Cliff and Nancy (McIntosh) Tipton. He was previously employed at Richmond Casket & Shell Company.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Cora (Hammons) Tipton; daughter Lynn (Mike) McManus of Buffalo, New York; sons Terry Tipton and Steven Tipton of Dayton, Ohio; step children Jerry Isabell of Piqua, Ohio, Pam (Steve) Emmons of Richmond, Indiana and Teresa (Rich) Johns of Union City, Indiana; daughter-in-law Lorie Isabell of Smithville, Tennessee,12 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Glenn Tipton of Irvine, Kentucky, and James A. Tipton of Newport, Kentucky; sister Violet Popp of Orange County, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; step son John Isabell Jr.; and his first wife Patricia Tipton.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday December 8, 2014 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Rd., Union City, Indiana 47390, immediately following at 11 a.m. funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Sonny Pettie with burial to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Union City, Indiana.
