Geraldine "Jerri" Dodd

Geraldine "Jerri" (Smith) Dodd,77, of Union City, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Reid Memorial Hospital. Jerri was born January 4, 1947, to the late C.J. and JoAnn (Brown) Smith.

  She worked at several businesses in Union City, including UC Body Company in the First Aid Department, The Apothecary Shoppe, PK Lumber, and My Favorite Flowers.

 She is survived by her children, Julie (Rod) Holden of Princeton, IN, Jodi (Anthony) Campanello of Lebanon, OH, Joice (Kevin) Wise of Lynn, IN, Tina Neureuther of Union City, IN, and a stepson, Eric (Jenny) Dodd of Beaver Dam, KY. Grandchildren, Raymond (Jackie) Holden, Matthew (Rebekah) Holden, Mason Holden, Whitney (Jason) Allen, Trevor Wise, Tess (Chase) McAllister, Ethan (Lindsey) Neureuther, and step-grandchildren, Gavin, Hope, Chantz, and Karley Dodd, and 13 great-grandchildren. A brother, Kelly Smith (Ramona), and a late brother’s companion, Cinda Brubaker. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, DuWayne Dodd, her parents, C.J. and JoAnn (Brown) Smith, brother, Scott Smith, and stepdaughter, Kim (Dodd) McCord.

 The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Monday July 8. 2024 at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN.

 Immediately following the time of visitation, a Funeral Service to celebrate Geraldines life will begin at 2:00 pm. The burial will take place at Union City Cemetery.
