Georgianna Hotmire

Georgianna Hotmire 90 of Union City, IN went home to be with the lord on March 9, 2024, in Xenia, OH.  She was born on June 26, 1933, to the late George Newbauer and Rosa Vanatta Newbauer.  She married Weldon Hotmire on May 16, 1953, and he preceded her in death.

Georgianna worked at Fram for 42 years and was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church in Greenville, OH.  She loved the lord, her family, and friends. She enjoyed playing piano, organ, traveling, and gardening.

Survivors include her daughters; Debbie (Brad) Holton of Xenia, OH, Lisa (Jerrod) Hunter of Anderson, IN, grandson Jeremy (Leeann) Honn, and great grandchildren Dylan and Eli Honn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Weldon, sisters; Mabel Mangas, Edith Huffer, Florence Witter, brothers; Raymond, Louis “Isaac “Ike”, Hershel Albert “Abby”, Willard “Pete”, William Benjamin “Ben”, Robert “Bobby”, and Forrest Edward “Eddie” Newbauer.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Monday March 18, 2024, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a Funeral Service to celebrate Georgianna’s life will begin at 2:00 pm.  Burial will take place at Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, IN.
