Gary Leon Gilbert

 Gary Leon Gilbert, 63 of Rossburg, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday December 7, 2011. Gary was the son of the late James & Cecile Pepple Gilbert, born November 3, 1948 in Darke County, Ohio.  Gary was a manager at Cal-Maine Foods for the last 15 Years . Gary and his wife Sharon owned  & Operated Gilbert’s Hamburger stand at the Great Darke County Fair for 26 Years. He loved Deer Hunting and Casinos.

                He leaves to cherish his memory, children; Cathy (Shelby) Thomas of Ansonia, Ohio, Tim (Sheila) Moore of Arcanum, Ohio, Curtis Gilbert of U.C., OH and Shawn Gilbert of Arcanum, OH.  Brother Jim (Karen) Gilbert of U.C., IN, sister, Sue (Melvin) Grile of U.C., OH.  12 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 aunt, several cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

                He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon J. Myers Gilbert “2010,” and a brother Jerry Gilbert.

                Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday Dec. 12, 2011 at the Lisbon Cemetery with Rev. Mick Whistler officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, OH with envelopes available at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
