Elvin V. Shumaker

Elvin V. Shumaker 69 of Union City, IN passed away on November 16, 2023, at Reid Hospital.  Elvin was

born on July 10, 1954, to the late Dorwin and Pauline (Neargarder) Shumaker.

Elvin was the pastor at Global Methodist Church in Rossburg, OH and volunteered with Kairos prison

ministry. He enjoyed camping and golfing when he was younger.

Survivors include his children; Raychel (Jason) Page, Misty Qualls, Jamy Daugherty, Julie Shumaker, siblings;

Carolyn (Jim) Green, Judy (Mike) Bannister, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 step grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter Tosha, and twin grandsons.

Burial will take place later at the convenience of the family.
