Douglas Hawes

Douglas “Doug” Hawes of Greenville, OH died on November 14, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.  He was born on February 23, 1961, to Norman and Judy (Bannon) Hawes.

Doug graduated High School from Mississinawa Valley in 1979.  He enjoyed spending time with family as well as playing drums in different bands.

Survivors include his mother Judy Hawes of Greenville, OH, a son Derek Hawes of Kentucky, brother; Gary Hawes of Greenville, OH, grandchildren; Devin Hawes of Bradford, OH, Braden Hawes of Kentucky, two nieces, two nephews, many cousins, and dog Princess Bella.

He was preceded in death by his father Norman Hawes, and grandson, DJ Hawes.

Visitation will take place on Monday November 21, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial to take place at Snell Cemetery Union City, OH.
