Doris Irene Starr

UNION CITY – Doris Irene Starr, 69, passed away late Monday evening Nov. 10, 2014 surrounded by family at her residence in Union City, Indiana.

She was born on June 6, 1945, in Union City, Indiana, daughter of the late Alva and Gladys Davis Stewart.

Doris was a seamstress at Troy Sunshade Co. in Greenville, Ohio.

Survivors include her children, Pam Vallandingham, Dallas Herron and Dawn Herron; grandchildren, Ashley Huss, Angela Foster, Heather Smith and Donnie Martin; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Gene (Bobby) Stewart, Everett (Regina) Stewart, Jerry (Judy) Stewart and Kenny Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday November 14, 2014 at the Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, Indiana. No public visitation hours will be held.
