Delores Keener

Delores Keener, age 87, of Union City, Indiana, passed away on May 16, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1936, to Dewey Jenks and Francis McKinney Dodd.

 Delores was married to Joseph Keener for 57 years and together they raised six Surviving children: Kathy West (Larry), Penny Timmerman (Steve), Jo Fennig (Mark), Becky Bowers (Mark), Susie Williams, and Jennifer Huff (Dan). 1 sister Edith (Sis) Valangeon , 1 Brother Norman Whyde (Shorty ). 

 Delores (Doodle) was Preceded in Death by Husband of 57 years, Joseph Keener, Daughter Carolyn Bower, Daughter Betty Hufford, Son Steven Keener

Delores was a grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great- Great Grandchildren.

 She enjoyed spending time with her family and the Christmas Holiday. She was known for her love of bingo and always made time for her favorite hobbies. She was a Retired Dietary Aide / Cook in Healthcare.

 Delores will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

 The family will receive visitors on Thursday May 23, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN.

 Immediately following the time of visitation, a Funeral Service to celebrate Delores’s life will begin at 6:00pm.  Burial will take place later at the convenience of the family.
