Darrell Jean Spiess

Darrell Jean Spiess, 74, passed away Friday December 3, 2021 at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. She was born April 2, 1947 in Toledo, OH daughter of the late Douglas and Thelma Peden Cottrell.

She was a devoted wife of 53 years to her late husband Terry. She was a supportive partner during their years of ministry, a faithful woman of God, and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Throughout her life she enjoyed singing, gardening and working within the church to share the love of God with those she came in contact with.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Kelly (John) Holmes of U.C., IN, Jody (Gerald) Loudermilk of Circleville, OH; a son Terry Spiess of U.C., IN; grandchildren Brooke Gillen, Shelby (Sean) Netherton, Sophia Rosado, Alexis (Jared) Crawford, Gabrielle Holmes, Caleb Holmes; 5 great grandchildren; a brother Marshall (Jenny) Cottrell of Miamisburg, OH; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Terry L. Spiess and a brother Brent Cottrell.
