Dale E. Prescott, 92

Dale E. Prescott, Union City, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday December 3^rd, 2014 at Village Green in Greenville, Ohio.

He was born November 18, 1922 in Union City, Indiana son of the late Rock and Josedna (Grice) Prescott.  Dale was the Owner/Operator of Dale’s Barber Shop in Union City, Indiana for 52 years, was a member of the Ansonia Church of God, Barbershop Quartet and the Lions Club.  He enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Evelyn (Shoop) Prescott; son Dean (Linda) Alexander of Greenville, Ohio; daughters Su Ann (Paul) Walling of Nashville, Tennessee, Cathy (Mike) Dunevant of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren Dustin Alexander, Heather (Nathan) Sparks, Jesse (Tamara) Alexander, Michelle (Qasin) Zaidi, Darrell (Amanda) Walling, Leah (Charles) Dunevant, Nick Dunevant; 8 great grandchildren; brother Phillip (Bea) Prescott of Winchester, Indiana; sister Phyllis Collins of Muncie, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 12 noon- 2 p.m. Monday December 8, 2014 at the Ansonia Church of God, 750 South Main Street, Ansonia, Ohio, 45303.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Steven B. Shoop and Rev. David Hackney officiating, burial will follow at the New Pitsburg Cemetery.
