CHARLOTTE MARIE PETERS, 69, of Union City, Indiana passed away November 4, 2015 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She was born November 18, 1945 in West Liberty, Kentucky daughter of the late Joseph and Fanney Lykins Bolin. Charlotte worked at Union City Body Company for 33 years, served as union stewart for Local #494, attended the First Baptist Church in Union City, Ohio, a member of Eagles #2790 Auxiliary and UAW Local #494. She enjoyed helping people in any way she could.
Survivors include; children, Charlotte Kennedy, Donna J. Tedrow, Roselyn Hughes, Douglas Tedrow, and Douglas Gooden all of Union City; 2 step daughters, Linda Hammond and Loretta Knapp; 8 grandchildren, Brandy N. Keen, Brandon Kennedy, Bre Kennedy, Christopher Campbell, Shawnnasee Stapleton, Dakota Moreno, Jerry (Leslie) Tedrow, Chiane (Mendy) Tedrow Heather Chalfant; 4 step grandchildren, Christopher, John, Andrew, and Jamie; 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton Merril Peters; 6 brothers, Bob, Jim, Ray, Jess, Marion, and Russell Bolin; 2 sisters, Mary Newman and Carmmie Hampshire.
Funeral services will be at Reichard Funeral Home Inc. Monday November 9, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. with calling from 10:00 A.M. til time of services also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Weimer Cemetery in Saratoga, Indiana with Rev. Luke McKeeth. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
