CHARLES HENRY WHYDE, 84, of Winchester, Indiana passed away Monday April 17, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born March 11, 1933 in Vermillion County, Indiana to the late Charles Drexall & Laura Bryan Jones Whyde. Charles worked at Anchor Hocking Glass in Winchester, Indiana for 27 Yrs. retiring in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for 29 Yrs. Charles enjoyed fishing, trucking and talking on his C.B.
Survivors include Children, Dorothy Estep-Winchester, Indiana, Donald (Roberta) Whyde-Winchester, Indiana, Jerry (Lynn) Strong-Winchester, Indiana, Howard Whyde-Florence, Alabama, Rose (Brian) Jones-Rossburg, Ohio, Regina (Robert) Lowe-Rochester, Indiana. Grandchildren: Jerry Wood, Jody Biser, Christina Reyes, Jerry Strong Jr., Stacey Whyde, Toby Snellenberger, Sarah Mangas, Justin Whyde. 14 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be Friday April 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, Indiana with calling from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Reitenour Cemetery in Deerfield with Rev. Jerry Brumfield. Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
