Betty L. (Deck) Stewart, 92, passed away Monday June 11th, 2018. She was born March 30th, 1926 in Franklin, OH daughter of the late Carl and Grace (Slye) Deck.
Betty met her husband, John W. Stewart at Springboro, Ohio H.S., where she was a cheerleader and he was a basketball player. During their 72 years of marriage they traveled all over the United States in an RV, enjoyed horse racing, and loved the slot machines.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, John W. “Red†Stewart; children, Jerry (SueAnne) Stewart of U.C., IN, Rob (Susan Linder) Stewart of U.C., IN, Bevan Sue Stewart of Lebanon, OH; grandson, William Dale (Tiffany) Stewart.
She was preceded by her parents; 3 brothers, Donald, Darrell, and Gene Deck.
Graveside services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 16th, 2018 at the Miami Cemetery, 6379 Corwin Ave., Waynesville, OH with the Rev. Anthony Wade officiating.
