Betty M Ludwick

UNION CITY – Betty Maxine (Saintignon) Ludwick, 93, passed away Thursday evening Nov. 13, 2014 surrounded by family at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born on March 10, 1921 in Darke County, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell and Fern Richter Grim.

Betty was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Union City, Ohio, a graduate of Jackson High School class of 1939, and also loved to cook.

Survivors include her children, Julie (Steve) Amspaugh of Union City, Ohio, and Jim (Gloria) Saintignon of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Pfefferkorn, Emily (Jon) Taylor and Annie (Kelsey) Timmerman; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and close friends also.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norbert Saintignon “1966,” 3 brothers, Paul Grim, Everett Grim and Robert Grim; 2 sisters, Edna Puterbaugh and Alberta Holden.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 15, 2014 at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc. 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, Indiana with visitation two hours prior from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating.  Burial will follow at Teegarden Cemetery Union City, Ohio.
