Anna Marie Wise

Anna Marie Wise, 87, of Union City, IN went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Pineknoll Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 10, 1934, in Union City, IN to the late George and Leota (Love) McCracken. Anna married Leon Wise on October 17, 1951 and were happily married for 69 years.

Anna was a proud farm wife that enjoyed gardening, working in her strawberry patch, her grandchildren, fishing in Canada, her hummingbirds and helping with the farm. She was a member of the Spartanburg United Methodist Church, Rural Couples and the Emanon Card Club.
She is survived by her husband Leon, children; Becky Byrd of Winchester, IN, Kevin Wise (Joice) of Lynn, IN, Kyle Wise (Tracie) of Cicero, IN, grandchildren; Jared Byrd (Tanya) Jordan Byrd (Kerry), Darcy Uhrick (Ryan), Trevor Wise, Tess Wise (Fiancé Chase McAllister), Cody Wise and Kelsey Wise. Great-grandchildren; Delaney Byrd, Jayven Byrd, Lennox Uhrick and In-laws; June McCracken and Duane (Betty) Wise.
She was also preceded in death by her son Randy Wise, and siblings; Eugene McCracken, Francis McNutt, Elaine Weadick, Galen McCracken, and Rose Ebberts.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, IN.
A service to celebrate Anna's life will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Spartanburg Cemetery.
