Amy Jo Newport

Amy Jo Newport, 43, of Union City, IN went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2021, at Reid Hospital. She was born on September 22, 1977, in Greenville, Ohio to Robert Davis and Darla Hannan.

Amy loved watching her kids and spending time with family. She enjoyed camping and playing jokes on people.
She is survived by her father Robert (Judy) Davis of Union City, IN; mother Darla Hannan of Union City, IN; sons Hunter Newport of Union City, IN and Matthew Newport of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter Ashley Ratcliff of Muncie, IN; siblings Robert Davis Jr. of Union City, IN, Myriah Davis of Union City, IN, and Deric (Rachel) Arthur of Union City, IN; stepsiblings Tommy McCord of Union City, IN, Kayla (Kevin) Rogers of Banks Oregon, and Gary Hannan Jr. of Greenville, OH; nieces and nephews Cadi Davis, Jason Davis, Landon Hylton, and Lyric Arthur.

She was preceded in death her stepfather Gary Hannan, and grandparents Emory (Marchell) Gray and Charles (Marion) Davis.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Amy's life will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday September 4, 2021 at Reichard Funeral Home, 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN 47390.

Services will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Union City Cemetery.
