Agatha Imel

Agatha Imel, 93, formerly of Union City, Ind., died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Parker Health Care and Rehabilitation, Parker City. 
She was born March 17, 1919 in Mercer County, Ohio to the late John and Maud Alexander Gibson. She was a homemaker. 
Survivors include her children, Eddie (Tamara) Imel of Union City, Ind., Judy Zearbaugh of Portland and Greg (RaMona) Imel of Salem; a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Imel of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Cindy Imel and Mindy Misner; four great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and a sister, Shirley Burk of Union City, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Hank" Imel; a son, Danny "Dan" Imel; a son-in-law, Dick Zearbaugh; a grandson, Kurt Imel; and 11 brothers and sisters. 
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Thursday at Reichard Funeral Home, Union City, Ind., with Rev. Rodger Garland officiating. Burial is at Lisbon Cemetery.
Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to; Portland Community Foundation Madison High School Scholarship fund or the donor's choice in Agatha's memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
